German Expressionism
It's an expression form the old German movie which around 1910-1930. usually decide the beautiful of dark, creepy and terrify.
It has some important element German Expressionism use a lot in the movie.
-Hard shadow
-through the mirror to see the character
-optical effect (or call iris out, close the iris, fade out)
-many eyes
-ghost shape (or use shadow to describe the terrifying people)
