The Value and Color study L3 - Color Schemes


Each color gives us a different feeling and each of them represents the different meaning. We use those meaning they gave in to design and bring it to the audience.


So the first part we are discussing is color temperature which is mean some of the colors feels warmer, some of it feels cooler.



L: cool color/ R: warm color

Complementary Color: the color front of each other

Complementary



Analogous Color: the color next to each other(usually 3 or more)

Triadic Color: Totally have three colors, and there are three colors between each color
Triad


Split-Complementary Color: Two colors separate by one color, and another color is the color front of the color separate two color
SplitComplementary


Tetradic Color: Two colors separate by one color, and the other two is in front of the two
Tetrad
